Carnival Cruise to The Baja 1000

Every year we take the Carnival Cruise from Long Beach to Ensenada, Mexico - Ensenada is a port city on the Pacific coast of Mexico’s Baja California peninsula where they have the the Baja 1000. The Baja 1000 is a Mexican off-road motorsport race that’s internationally known as it’s the single most dangerous sport in North America. It’s 1000 miles of pure dirt, and savages in machines. Conveniently, the Port of Ensenada is right where the Start/Finish line takes place.

We sat and chatted with the local Federales after walking several miles down a wash to a spot where trucks jump. They were super cool dudes. Orale.
